This recipe is my contribution to Mexican cooking contest Lazy Blog and school Kitchen Club.
is a first dish whose main ingredient is pumpkin flower widely used in Mexican cooking.
Pumpkin flowers are large and a deep shade of yellow to white petals. They have a lot of water and little fat, are rich in calcium, phosphorus and minerals like potassium, iron, magnesium and B complex vitamins A and C.
This flower can be found in Madrid in specialty stores because it is not very common in our kitchen.
For this recipe, first prepare the chicken and the other will make a sauce with squash flowers bought in brine and whose final appearance will have a striking yellow color and a mild flavor and delicate. Ideal to eat with tortillas ... I encourage you to come into the kitchen:)

Cut the chicken into strips and introduce them into the sauce, leave a few minutes more to heat and serve with a little chopped parsley.
